The army offers free technical (engineering) education, military training and jobs to those in the rank of Lieutenant. The 39th technical courses commence from July 2018
Duration of training: Five years
Stipend: ₹56,100 during training
Salary: ₹56,100 - ₹1,77,500 for the rank of Lieutenant
Number of Vacancies: 90
Eligibility: Should be an unmarried Indian citizen, not born before January 1, 1999 and not after January 1, 2002. Only those who have passed 10+2/equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 70% marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics are eligible to apply. Physical and medical fitness is required.
Selection: Shortlisted candidates will undergo an SSB interview at Benguluru/Allahabad/Bhopal/Kapurthala and complete psychological tests, group testing, and so on. Based on these, the All-India merit list will be prepared.
