Ranveer Singh’s Alauddin Khilji gave us goosebumps when we first saw the glimpse of the actor in the film’s riveting trailer. His menacing look convinced us that there could simply be no other actor who could have pulled off this dark character. Even though his character didn’t have any dialogues in the film’s trailer but the audience was simply bowled over by his performance.

The new poster of Ranveer Singh from Padmavati is out and it further cements the fact that Ranveer has done a marvelous job in the film. Sitting atop a throne, Ranveer looks dangerously regal. His posture, his look and his crown completely owns the frame and by the looks of it, one can say that this will be Ranverr Singh’s best performance so far. The film’s new song Ek Dil Ek Jaan featuring Shahid Kapoor and Deepika Padukone was released earlier today and with this new poster dropping now, we can be certain that the makers want their audience to stay glued for the upcoming surprises.

The film’s grand sets, royal costumes and even the look of the actors have created a strong buzz around the film and if any of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s previous film are to go by, we know he’s a pro at creating period dramas. Bhansali’s last film Bajirao Mastani (2015) also starred Ranveer Singh and he was applauded for his portrayal of the Maratha warrior.
