iPhone X: Shiny, smooth and very expensive

The most striking bit about the iPhone X is its 5.8-inch screen. No, we have seen bigger screen in similar sized phones. But the reason why the iPhone X screen mesmerises a user is because of its colour accuracy.

The iPhone X, just like the iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 Plus this year, is a waterproof phone.

Although the iPhone X has the rear cover made of glass, the phone comes with a very shiny steel frame. The shiny design in Chrome finish gives the iPhone X almost jewel-like looks.

Despite packing in a big screen, the iPhone X is overall much smaller than the iPhone 8 Plus. With weight of around 165 grams, it is also lighter.

Apple has gone for a minimalist design with the iPhone X. It has even removed the text that you would earlier see on the bottom part of the rear cover. Inside the iPhone X there is the A11 bionic processor, 3GB RAM and 64GB internal storage (or 256GB depending on which version you get).

Yes, the iPhone X screen has that notch. Some people call it bunny years and it is very much in your face when you are watching videos on it. But after a while your eyes and brain learn to ignore it. Under the notch, Apple hides the hardware for the Face ID and front camera.

The iPhone X comes with dual-lens rear camera. One lens is regular one that clicks 12-megapixel images. The other one is a zoom lens with around 55mm focal length. The portrait mode is supported on both rear and front cameras in the iPhone X.
