State-owned Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilisers (RCF) today posted a 75 per cent drop in its net profit at Rs 10.79 crore for the September quarter of the current fiscal.
Its net profit stood at Rs 43.06 crore in the same period last year, the company said in a regulatory filing.
Total income rose marginally to Rs 1,817.34 crore in the July-September period of the 2017-18 fiscal from Rs 1,791.69 crore in the year-ago period.
Expenses increased to Rs 1,790.76 crore from Rs 1,724.64 crore.
Shares of the company fell by 1.23 per cent to settle at Rs 92.60 apiece on the BSE today.
