MSU seeks Rs 21 cr from state govt

Vadodara: MS University has sought over Rs 21 crore from the state government to pursue various construction projects on its campus. The university has proposed to construct a separate building for its internal quality assurance cell (IQAC), exam section and pharmacy building.


The university wants to construct IQAC's main building at the open space available between the convocation ground and the university head office for which it has sought Rs ten crore from the state government.


For the new building of Faculty of Pharmacy which the university wants to construct at the Donor's Plaza ground, the university has sought Rs five crore from the state government. Also, since the space available to the exam section is not enough inside the university head office, the university wants to construct a separate building for the same for which it has sought Rs 6.87 crore from the state government.
