The Kozhikode Chief Judicial Magistrate Court on Friday acquitted a journalist with the Thejas daily who was charged with a case of assault on policemen in connection with the Kiss of Street event organised against fascism in the city on January 1, 2016.
The Town Police had registered a case against P.A. Aneeb who had gone to report the event at the Kidson Corner. However, he was caught in the crossfire between Kiss of Street organisers and Hanuman Sena activists.
