Meyaadha Maan fame Priya Bhavani Shankar’s next is with Karthi, director Pandiraj

Priya Bhavani Shankar who shot to fame with Meyatha Maan has now landed a biggie. Confirming speculation, the pretty actor is now officially part of Karthi’s next with Director Pandiraj. Taking to Twitter, the Meyaadha Maan confirmed that she is part of the project. “Happy 2 share dat my Next ‘ll be by @pandiraj_dir wit @Karthi_Offl😊PS:my bad cudn’t be in Pooja pics 4 some reasons😛sry abt the confusions🙏🏼 (sic),” Priya tweeted. While Meyaadha Maan was Priya’s Kollywood debut, the actor shot to fame for her role in a television soap. Priya was paired against Vaibhav in Meyaadha Maan, which was directed by Rathna Kumar. Produced by Karthik Subbaraj, the film was a runaway hit giving Priya a dream debut in Kollywood.

Apart from Priya, the Karthi-Pandiraj film also has Vanamagan fame Sayyesha. Produced by Suriya’s 2D entertainment, the film is said to be a family entertainer. Shooting for the film began on Thursday with a pooja conducted by the cast and crew. And going by the picture it seems like the film also a solid supporting cast comprising Sathyaraj, Soori and Bhanupriya. The film is likely to release during Summer 2018.

Karthi on the other is currently awaiting the release of Theeran Adhigaram Ondru. Directed by Sathuranga Vettai fame H Vinoth, the film also stars Rakul Preet Singh. Theeran is bankrolled by Dream Warrior pictures and has music by Ghibran. The film will hit screens on November 17.
