Landmark DAWN study presented at SVIN meeting with New England Journal of Medicine release

(Society of Vascular and Interventional Neurology ) Dr. Raul Nogueira and Dr. Tudor Jovin, principal investigators of the DAWN study announce their results today at the Society of Vascular and Interventional Neurology (SVIN) 10th Annual Meeting in Boston, MA. Removing blood clots in stroke patients presenting late , or who wake up with symptoms, with select clinical and imaging criteria, can reduce disability and increase functional independence from stroke. Dr. Tudor Jovin presents breaking results from subgroup analyses at the SVIN meeting that were made public for the first time.
