The teaser of Tagaru that was released on November 7 set a new bench mark in Kannada industry. Suri’s upcoming directorial venture gives a glimpse of the gangster plot with some intense moments with Shivarajkumar, who plays a cop.

But Dhananjay aka Dolly is equally hogging the limelight. The actor, who has been featured in lead roles, is stepping into the shoes of an antagonist for the first time. He shares screen space with Vasishta Simha in the movie.

City Express caught up with the actor, at a time when he is enjoying his new role. Even though he has already completed his portions in Tagaru, but it will surprise fans to know, that Dhananjay is yet to get out of Dolly’s character.

“Even though I completed shoot, I am still trying to get out being Dolly,  for the role was skin deep,” he says.

Meanwhile he is eagerly waiting for the release of Tagaru, before accepting his next project.

“This is a new attempt, and I want to know the audience reaction,” he says.
