NEW DELHI: Nearly 50 stocks, including Axis Bank, Bharat Forge, Britannia Industries, Gulf Oil Lubricants India and Hexaware Technologies hit fresh 52-week highs on NSE in Thursday's trade.

IFB Industries, Indian Bank, L&T Technology Services, Rain Industries, RattanIndia Infrastructure, Urja Global and Vakrangee were also among the stocks that hit fresh 52-week highs today.

On the other hand, Bharat Road Network, Gemini Communication, Lupin, Reliance Communications, Stampede Capital and Strides Shasun were among those 11 stocks that hit fresh 52-week lows on NSE.

Equity benchmarks Nifty50 and Sensex pared gains due to a fresh spell of selling in realty, pharma, metal and auto stocks.

Benchmark Nifty50 index was 11 points up at 10,314, while the 30-share Sensex was 40 points up at 33,259 around 11.20 am (IST) on Thursday.

Shares of Reliance Industries, Asian Paints, Hindustan Unilever, ICICI Bank, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation, Indiabulls Housing Finance, Bharti Infratel and UPL were among the top gainers.

However, Coal India, HDFC, Aurobindo Pharma, GAIL, Power Grid and Zee Entertainment were the top losers.

Among the 51 stocks in the Nifty50 index, 28 were trading in the green, while 22 were in the red.
