JSW Steel Ltd reported a marginal rise in its crude steel production at 13.43 lakh tonnes for October 2017.

The production of long rolled products also fell by 8 percent to 2.58 lakh tonnes last month from 2.79 lakh tonnes in October 2016, it added.
However, the production of flat-rolled products registered a 2 percent growth at 9.77 lakh tonnes in October 2017 as compared to 9.58 lakh tonnes in the corresponding period last year.

Shares of the company ended 0.55 per cent up at Rs 263.15 on BSE.
