Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh will tomorrow inaugurate a three-day global conference on organic farming at India Expo Centre in Greater Noida.
One of the highlights of the event is the exhibition of carefully preserved diverse indigenous seed varieties over generations, an official release said.
Commerce Minister Suresh Prabhu, Bhutan Agriculture Minister Yeshey Dorji and Sikkim Chief Minister Pawan Kumar Chamling will be present at the event.
Also, agriculture ministers from Haryana, Odisha, Kerala will be attending the event.
The 'Organic World Congress' will see a participation of farmers, agri-scientists, traders and stakeholders from India and foreign countries.
The event, which is organised once in every three years, was last held in Turkey in 2014.
