VIJAYAWADA: The overall satisfaction level in the State is 61%, which has marginally increased from 56% last month. This was disclosed in the progress report on Real Time Governance (RTG) project, submitted to the Chief Minister on Tuesday. Principal Secretary Ahmed Babu presented the updated data of various welfare schemes, and methodologies used to monitor the satisfaction levels of beneficiaries.

Officials reported that promotion of the Kaizala app is one of the higher priorities, and 4,000 calls have been made to government employees to encourage them to engage with the app.  They also reported that employee master data, performance, and attendance, are all being updated department-wise and monitored online.

The People First Citizen app has shown good progress, and has become successful because it also includes news updates, they said. The call center will make calls to all 30 lakh plus citizens within this week and continue coordinating with the different departments, they added.

The Chief Minister advised changing the name of Sankshema Mitra to Sadhikara Mitra and stressed the need for implementing the welfare scheme in an inclusive manner. He also reviewed the performance of the social media team and was informed that the Twitter account NCBN has seen a massive growth from 1.9 million followers to 2.95 million followers in the last 7 months.

Naidu said that efforts should continue to engage citizens on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
“Q&As and competitions must be held more regularly, and ensure that netizens are positively engaging with our progress,” he said.
