RAJKOT: Chandan Chekhaliya (17), a resident of Chamunda Society on Morbi Road in Rajkot, hanged herself to death on Tuesday night.

Her body was recovered on Wednesday morning by her brother.

Police said she was suffering from anxiety over standard 10th exam in which she had failed once.

"She feared that she would fail again, which may have prompted her to take the drastic step," an official from B Division police station, where the case in this connection has been registered, said.
