Ujjain: Two persons killed in separate accidents in last 24 hours
Ujjain: Sunny Joseph and Suraj of Nagda had come to Ujjain on Monday afternoon. While returning home around 11 pm, they were hit by a speeding car near the Gambhir on Unhel road. While Sunny died on the spot, Suraj was seriously injured. Bhairavgarh police reached the spot and admitted the injured to a hospital.
Second mishap occurred near Ruigadha. Veerunath of Sandavada was on way to Bhopal when his bike was hit by an unidentified vehicle. Police admitted him to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday. The body was identified by his brother. He told the police that Veerunath worked in Bhopal and visited the village for a panchayat meeting. Bhairavgarh SHO said that FIRs have been lodged in both cases against unidentified vehicles.
Truck stolen from Chimanganj Mandi found in Maharashtra
A truck that was stolen around 20 days back from Chimanganj Mandi was recovered from Sangli in Maharashtra. A team has been sent to take possession of the truck. The Chimanganj police said that Babu Khan of Makodiyaaam had lodged a plaint regarding theft of his truck. Meanwhile, police were informed about an unclaimed truck in Maharashtra. Sub-inspector Rahul Chouhan had been sent to seize the truck.
