Students want change in exam dates

VADODARA: After getting their semester-end exams postponed, commerce students of M S University (MSU) have demanded that exam dates of two papers be changed as they were clashing with dates of Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) exams.

The students have requested that the exams of first year (FY) and second year (SY) of BCom to be held on December 29 and December 30 be held either later or earlier.

Student leaders of the MSU's biggest faculty have claimed that there are around 500 students of the faculty who will be taking the ICSI exams. Faculty students led by faculty general secretary Vraj Patel made representation to university administration at the head office on Wednesday.

"We talked with the deputy registrar of the exam section and he has promised that he will consider our demands and will give positive response soon," said Patel.
