Voters’ guide to Himachal Pradesh assembly elections

With Himachal Pradesh going to polls on November 9, here’s all the information you need to know before casting your vote. The two main contenders of this year’s elections are Virbhadra Singh from Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party’s Prem Kumar Dhumal. Voting will take place at 7479 polling stations across 68 constituencies of the hilly state. A total of 49,88,367 will exercise their voting power, out of which 50.74 percent are male and 49.26 percent are female.
