A.P. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday mistakenly referred to the death anniversary of Nobel laureate Sir C.V. Raman instead of birth anniversary (Nov. 7, 1888) while remembering him on Twitter.
At 9.47 a.m. the Chief Minister’s Twitter handle tweeted: “All diversities arise from the same source; remembering the scientist who gave us the Raman effect, Dr. C.V. Raman on his death anniversary.”
After receiving about 27 responses that pointed out the mistake, the tweet was deleted six hours later without any correction being posted. Of late such mistakes by popular persons on social media, particularly Twitter, got them flooded with negative user responses.
A few weeks ago, actor and Jana Sena party chief Pawan Kalyan referred to ‘Gauri Shankar’ instead of Gauri Lankesh in a series of tweets while condemning the journalist’s death.
