The collaboration will allow NCL Wintech, NCL's subsidiary into uPVC segment, to use VEKA's technical know-how and expand its offerings.
Hyderabad-based NCL Group is planning to set up a state-of-the-art facility in collaboration with German firm VEKA Group, for uPVC window and door profiles, and has entered into an agreement for the same, informed a senior company official.

The collaboration will allow NCL Wintech, NCL's subsidiary into uPVC segment, to use VEKA's technical know-how and expand its offerings.

Andreas Hartleif, chief executive officer, VEKA Group, said, "The facility will come up by June 2018 in Medak district (of Telangana) and will have a capacity of 12,000 tons per annum. This joint venture provides tremendous opportunity to leverage the synergies from VEKA Group's technology expertise, and NCL's market reach to tap this industry which has been growing at a compounded annual growth rate of 30% over the last decade".

VEKA Group, headquartered in Germany, is one of the largest international manufacturers of uPVC profile systems for windows and doors and has offices across three continents with over 5,500 employees worldwide.
