NEW DELHI: Shares of YES Bank (Rs 118.31 crore), Titan Company (Rs 102.11 crore) and Tata Motors (Rs 100.68 crore) were the most active stocks in terms of value on NSE in Tuesday's trade.

Shares of Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (Rs 92.71 crore), State Bank of India (Rs 83.33 crore), REC (Rs 66.88 crore), Bharti Airtel (Rs 61.90 crore), Punjab National Bank (Rs 60.47 crore), Tata Consultancy Services (Rs 53.92 crore), Reliance Industries (Rs 53.16 crore), Infosys (Rs 52.83 crore) and Idea Cellular (Rs 46.00 crore) were also in the league in that order.

The BSE Sensex and NSE nifty50 index registered a positive opening on Tuesday, with Sensex hitting a fresh record high of 33,866.

Oil, pharma, IT and FMCG stocks were catching investors' attention.

At 09.45 hours, the Nifty50 index was trading 26 points up at 10,478, while Sensex was 123 points up at 33,853.

Shares of Oil & Natural Gas Corporation, Tata Consultancy Services, GAIL, HCL Tech, Aurobindo Pharma, Infosys, Sun Pharma, Wipro and Tech Mahindra were among the top gainers in the Nifty50 index.

However, YES Bank, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation, Bharat Petroleum Corporation, Asian Paints, Indiabulls Housing Finance, Bharti Airtel, UPL, Indian Oil Corporation and Reliance Industries were among the top losers.
