As many as 818 Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha activists were taken into preventive custody by police from various locations when they tried to proceed to the Assembly as part of ‘Çhalo Assembly’ programme of the organisation to highlight unemployment and unfulfilled one lakh jobs promise by Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao. Several activists went up to the Assembly building incognito in a funeral van to escape from police security, and tried to enter the premises. They were later arrested and sent to Gandhinagar Police Station.
