Defence Institute of Physiology and Allied Sciences (DIPAS) provides an excellent opportunity for young and motivated researchers to pursue a career in basic and applied Life Sciences research. DIPAS endeavors in optimizing human performance under extreme operational environments using physiological, biochemical, nutritional and ergonomic approach. The labs are equipped with state-of-art facilities to conduct human studies, animal and in-vitro experimentation with an interdisciplinary approach. Applications are invited from young and motivated candidates to work in ongoing and future research projects of DIPAS for the following posts:

Junior Research Fellows: DRDO fellowship (04)
Post Code : JRF- 01
Essential Qualifications : a) Post Graduate degree in Life Sciences Physiology/Biochemistry /Biomedical Sciences/ Nutrition with first division wherever division or equivalent grading is awarded with NET Qualification Or Graduate degree in professional course (B.E/B.Tech) with first division and NET/GATE Qualification. Or Post graduate degree in professional course (M.E/M.Tech) with first division both at Graduate and Post graduate level.
Desirable Qualifications : Preference will be given to those who have a working experience in the mentioned disciplines/areas.
Age Limit : The upper age limit for the above posts is maximum of 28 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications. 5 years relaxation to SC/ST candidates, 3 years to OBC candidates, and other entitled categories as per govt. rules.

Junior Research Fellows: with own fellowship (08)
Post Code : JRF- 02
Essential Qualifications : a) Qualifications same as post code: JRF-01. b) CSIR/ UGC/ ICMR/ DBT/ DST qualified with valid fellowship at the time of joining.
Desirable Qualifications : Preference will be given to those who have a working experience in the mentioned disciplines/areas.
Age Limit : The upper age limit for the above posts is maximum of 28 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications. 5 years relaxation to SC/ST candidates, 3 years to OBC candidates, and other entitled categories as per govt. rules.
