Spurs in pre-quarters
It took Spurs into the Last-16 with two games to spare and left are three points clear of Madrid at the Group 'H' summit. "It was a fantastic display by us," Alli said. "We knew if we stuck to our game plan and were solid at the back then we'd get chances. We're very happy with the result. We don't want to just compete with these teams — we want to beat them. I'm happy to get two goals, but more importantly it was a win."

Staying in present
Meanwhile Spurs' striker Harry Kane reckoned Londoners can go all the way. "Why not? We're not going to get too ahead of ourselves but we've got to believe," Kane said. "We've qualified and we've got a good chance of finishing top. I think everyone doubted us at the start of the group stage but you've got to believe. But there's a long way to go. We've played well in the last four games against tough opposition so we've just got to keep going, keep improving."
