Jaipur: A Class XII student on Tuesday hanged herself in her room in Dausa. In a three-page suicide note, the girl claimed that she took the extreme step as she was under extreme distress.
The deceased studied at a private school and lived alone in a rented room in Pilot Nagar. She was found hanging in her room on Tuesday morning following which she was rushed to a nearby hospital. The doctors declared her dead.
Kotwali SHO Madan Lal Jesph informed TOI that a three-page suicide letter was recovered and an investigation was underway.
"The girl was reportedly upset after a tiff with her parents. Thus, she decided to end her life," Jesph said. "In the note, she has asked her parents to visit her school to find something. It seems that she was distressed about some people raising questions on her character," said an official. tnn
