Congress candidate from Shimla Rural Assembly seat in Himachal: Vikramaditya Singh

The Congress party's candidate from Shimla Rural Assembly constituency for the Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections 2017 is Vikramaditya Singh. Vikramaditya Singh is the son of six time Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh.

In 2012 Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections, Virbhadra Singh defeated BJP's Ishwar Rohal by massive margin of 20,000 votes from Shimla Rural seat. Virbhadra will be fighting elections from Arki seat. Vikramaditya is making debut in electoral politics as he has been fielded by the Congress from his father's constituency in the state Assembly elections, slated to be held on November 9.

Vikramaditya Singh is 28-years-old and a resident of Jakhu in Shimla. He is a post graduate and holds an MA degree from St. Stephens College, Delhi.

According to myneta.info, Vikramaditya Singh's assets are over Rs 84 crores and he has no criminal cases against him.
