Omni-channel solutions provider NCR Corporation has moved to a new Research and Development (R&D) Centre here. The new facility will play a significant role in building software engineering infrastructure to address the needs of connected economy, its Chief Technology Officer & Head of Product Management, Eli Rosner, told newspersons here on Tuesday.

According to Ashok Nallam, Director (Operations), the centre is the first largest R&D facility of the company outside its headquarters in Atlanta.

“We have grown here from 600 professionals to 1,200 in the last three years here and will continue to grow,’’ he said. NCR, a global major in consumer transactions technologies, has a share of about 50 per cent in the over two lakh ATMs in the country.
