THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Jude Joseph, a vehicle supervisor with the KSRTC, has filed a complaint with the Vigilance and Anti Corruption Bureau (VACB) against 11 of his senior colleagues for allegedly helping encroachment of Enchakkal bus terminal. According to him, senior officials were colluding with the encroachers. “Encroachers have received support from senior officials, including that of a former chairman and managing director of the KSRTC. I have decided to approach the VACB as the internal vigilance cell is silent on the issue,” said Jude Joseph. The land, around 5 acres on the Kovalam NH bypass at Enchakkal, was purchased to build a depot to run long-distance services.

This was done to decongest the Central Depot at Thampanoor. However it remained a garage as the KSRTC could not decide on the construction contract. Jude said he would approach Vigilance Court if the VACB fails to take up the issue.
