Dhampur Sugar Q2 Net up 64.69 pc at Rs 60-cr

Mills today posted 64.69 per cent jump in consolidated net profit to Rs 60.51 crore for the second quarter of this fiscal on strong sales.

Its net profit stood at Rs 36.74 crore in the same quarter last fiscal, the company said in a regulatory filing.


Total increased to Rs 806.83 crore in the July- September period of 2017-18 from Rs 699.64 crore in the year- ago period.

Expenses too remained higher at Rs 719.84 crore as against Rs 639.19 crore in the year-ago period.

The Delhi-based company, however, made it clear that its from operations for the said quarter are inclusive of and cannot be compared with the year-ago period.
