NEW DELHI: The Nifty FMCG index was trading 0.38 per cent up at 25,919 around 12:30 pm (IST), with shares of United Breweries (up 1.98 per cent), Britannia Industries (up 1.62 per cent), ITC (up 0.85 per cent), United Spirits (up 0.62 per cent) and Dabur India (up 0.10 per cent) as the top gainers.

However, shares of Godrej Industries (down 2.54 per cent), Tata Global Beverages (down 2.39 per cent), GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare (down 0.92 per cent), Marico (down 0.69 per cent), Hindustan Unilever (down 0.64 per cent), Colgate-Palmolive (India) (down 0.45 per cent) and Emami (down 0.16 per cent) were trading in the red around that time.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was 11 points down at 10,440, while the BSE Sensex was 37 points down at 33,694.

Among the 51 stocks in the Nifty50 index, 19 were trading in the green, while 30 were in the red.

Shares of HCL Tech, Infosys, Tata Consultancy Services, Tech Mahindra, Zee Entertainment, Wipro, Kotak Mahindra Bank, IndusInd Bank and Bharti Infratel were among the top gainers in the Nifty50 index.

However, YES Bank, Indian Oil Corporation, Reliance Industries, Asian Paints, Indiabulls Housing Finance, Bharat Petroleum Corporation, Bajaj Finance, UPL and Axis Bank were among the top losers.
