HYDERABAD: A domestic help working at actor Chiranjeevi’s residence here was detained on Monday by the Jubilee Hills police in connection with a theft that took place at the actor’s residence.

Detective Inspector K Mutthu said that they received a complaint from one Gangadhar, manager of Chiranjeevi stating that `2 lakh was missing from the residence and they suspected domestic help Chennaiah.

Based on a complaint, a case was registered and investigation was taken up.  On suspicion, police detained Chennaiah. “We are questioning some more suspects,’’ the detective inspector said.
