Steel pipe maker Jindal SAW today reported 27 per cent rise in standalone net profit to Rs 60.10 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2017.
The firm had clocked a net profit of Rs 47.32 crore in the year-ago period, Jindal SAW said in a BSE filing.
However, total standalone income of the company declined 4.8 per cent to Rs 1,372.96 crore in the said quarter from Rs 1,442.28 crore during the same quarter in 2016-17.
The company is a leading global manufacturer and supplier of iron and steel pipe products, fittings and accessories with manufacturing facilities in India, the US, Europe and the UAE.
Shares of the company today ended 4.41 per cent lower at Rs 116 apiece on BSE.
