FundsIndia.com, an online investment platform, has launched a one-step facility for its investors to link their Aadhaar number with their mutual fund investments.
As per the government rules, mutual fund investors must link their Aadhaar number to their investment accounts (with all fund houses) before December 31.
Investors can use FundsIndia's feature to link their Aadhaar number with the AMCs they have investments with. It will eliminate the inconvenience of linking the Aadhaar number individually with different AMCs.
"Linking Aadhaar number to mutual fund folios has become mandatory and it could be a big hassle for investors. At FundsIndia, however, we have made it easy with a single-stop linking facility that will take away the pain for our customers," said Srikanth Meenakshi, Co-Founder and Director, FundsIndia.com.
"With this feature, our investors have an easy way to link their Aadhaar to all their investments, across all AMCs they have investments with through FundsIndia", added Meenakshi.
