NEW DELHI: Shares of Prakash Steel (down 20 per cent), Shri Ram Switchgears (down 11.24 per cent) and Pincon Spirit (down 10 per cent) cracked over 10 per cent on NSE in Monday's trade.

Stocks such as India Nippon (down 8.65 per cent), Surana Telecom (down 8.33 per cent), Beta Drugs (down 7.24 per cent), Total Transport Systems (down 7.17 per cent) and Sujana Towers (down 6.02 per cent) declined over 6 per cent.

The Nifty50 index was 29 points up at 10,481, while the BSE Sensex was 133 points up at 33,818 around 2 pm (IST).

Barring Nifty Bank and Nifty Private Bank indices, all other sectoral indices were in the green, with nifty Auto index as the top gainer.

IDFC Bank, IndusInd Bank, YES Bank, Axis Bank and South Indian Bank were in the red, dragging the Nifty Private Bank index lower.

Shares of SAIL, Titan, Punjab National bank, ICICI Bank, Oil & Natural Gas Corporation and Tata Motors were the most traded stocks on the NSE.

Oil & Natural Gas Corporation, Tata Motors, M&M, Bharti Infratel, Maruti Suzuki, Hindalco, UltraTech Cement, Wipro and Cipla were among the top gainers in the Nifty50 index.

However, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation, Bharat Petroleum Corporation, IndusInd Bank, Zee Entertainment, UPL, Sun Pharma, Axis Bank, YES Bank and Tech Mahindra were among the top losers.
