Suicide car bomb attack kills 75, injures 140 in Syria

At least 75 people were killed and 140 wounded in a suicide carried out by the Islamic State (IS) militants in Syria's eastern province of Deir al-Zour, a monitor group reported.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights on Sunday said children were among those killed in the blast that took place Saturday evening on the eastern bank of the Euphrates River in Deir al-Zour, Xinhua news agency reported.
