Goa BJP mum on Lobo's comments, MGP-GFP bickering

In another development, the Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party (MGP) which is a coalition partner in the BJP-led has expressed dissatisfaction over preference given to another ally--the Forward Party (GFP) in distribution of power.

"We know MGP office-bearers are making statements over the distribution of power. But we won't comment on the issue," unit president told reporters after attending the party meeting in the state capital.

Responding to a query, he said the legislator has not expressed his unhappiness.

"There are statements being made over several issues through media. But I feel that the aggrieved persons should talk to the chief minister. The issues don't get resolved if you address them in media," Tendulkar said, without naming anyone.

He said has witnessed increased urbanisation due to which the need of planning and development authorities has been felt.
