The session was chaired by Vigilance Commissioner of Central Vigilance Commission Dr. T.M. Bhasin.

It was attended by special secretary and Member of S. Ramesh, CVO of CBEC R.K. Bharthwal, Chief Commissioner of Customs zone Sawhney and other senior officers.

Dr. T.M. Bhasin, Vigilance commissioner administered the pledge to maintain integrity and highest standards of probity by the officers and the staff of the Customs Zone exhorted the officers and staff to carry out their official duties without any fear or favour maintaining highest standards of integrity.

The Vigilance Awareness Week is observed to encourage all stakeholders to collectively participate in the fight against corruption and to raise public awareness regarding the existence, causes, gravity and the threat posed by corruption.
