The Off-Road Adventure Zone on the Gurgaon-Faridabad Road was a visual spectacle this Sunday with mud splashing around and monster cars speeding through ditches, as drivers from all across north India came together to participate in what was billed as Gurgaon's biggest off-roading event. The 4X4 Off-Road Rush: Chapter 2 was a two-day off-roading event featuring especially designed challenges for over 200 cars, ranging from modified 4x4s to SUVs and off-roading specialists.

The event saw a huge number of first-timers. Abhilasha Singh, a first-timer on the tracks, said, "It was my first time as a driver here and the challenges were quite tough. Both the navigator and the driver had to come together to navigate the course. That made it very fun."

Arjun, who had never done off-roading before, told us, "I was a navigator, so didn't drive, but the experience was quite fun. What I particularly liked was how well-organised this was. They had all the arrangements in place, including medical assistance and a JCB machine too. They also had a track walk-through before the races where they explained everything."

Drivers came from all over north India, including Punjab, Himachal, and Rajasthan. Dushyant and Amrit, a team from Mohali, said, "We have been off-roading for eight-nine years and it was great to see the atmosphere here in Gurgaon. Such events are always a good excuse for the off-roading community to get together and have fun."
