Chunky Pandey on co-hosting The Great Indian Laughter Challenge: I’m sure it’s going to be crazy on the sets

With Sajid Khan, Shreyas, Akshay Kumar and Chunky Padney getting together, we can surely expect them bringing the house down with their chemistry and antics. It will also be a mini reunion for the Housefull 2 team on the sets of The Great Indian Laughter Challenge.

The Great Indian Laughter Challenge might be struggling on the TRP chart but the show has definitely managed to make its mark with its content and talented contestants. After the much hyped exit of mentors Mallika Dua, Zakir Khan and Hussain Dalal, popular filmmaker Sajid Khan and talented actor Shreyas Talpade have joined the super guru Akshay Kumar on the judging table. Now, to add more drama and fun, comedy star Chunky Pandey will be seen joining the team as a co-host.

Indianexpress.com has exclusive information that the Housefull star will shoot with the team tomorrow. As per the current format, every weekend, a special guest will join Elli Evram as the co-host. With Sajid, Shreyas, Akshay and Chunky getting together, we can surely expect them bringing the house down with their chemistry and antics. It will also be a mini reunion for the Housefull 2 team.

Shared a source with indianexpress.com, “Chunky has given the nod and will shoot with the team tomorrow. Along with him the entire team is kicked about to have him on the show. His ‘I am joking’ phrase has become a worldwide sensation and we are sure we will get to hear it from him. As of now he will only be a part of one weekend episodes.”

Chunky himself, in an exclusive chat with indianexpress.com shared, “I am super excited to meet the boys and have a gala time shooting. With Akshay on the show, he can do anything as he is the biggest prankster. I am actually going on the show with a helmet to protect myself (laugh) from their antics. But I am sure it’s going to be crazy on the sets.”

From the time of its launch, The Great Indian Laughter Challenge on Star Plus has been in the news for all the wrong reasons, be it a contestant’s performance being edited as he mimicked Prime Minister Narendra Modi or the exit of the mentors to Akshay Kumar being blamed of passing sexist comments on Mallika. We hope Chunkey’s presence can add some fun and relief among the team.
