The Jawaharlal Nehru University has announced that Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, founder of the Art of Living, will deliver this year’s Nehru Memorial Lecture. Mr. Shankar will speak on the topic “Inner Peace, Outer Dynamism.”
Wellness camp
Rector - III Rana P. Singh also announced that the university will organise a holistic health and wellness camp after the lecture.
This will include a lecture and interaction session with Mr. Shankar on the topic, ‘21st - Beyond Dichotomy’.
The initiative is being undertaken by the JNU Wellness Club and will be preceded by a music concert by Vikram Hazra at the JNU Stadium. The event, the university said, will be telecast live in over 100 countries.
The lecture will be delivered on November 13 in the Convention Centre, JNU.
