Vignan students take out walk against corruption

GUNTUR: Vignan Pharmacy College students organised a walkathon marking Vigilance Awareness Week, at Vadlamudi village in Chebrolu mandal of Guntur district on Saturday. The students in large numbers raised slogans on corruption-free India and called upon the public to join fight against corruption.

College principal C Srinivasa Babu appealed to the students to dream and commit themselves to a corruption-free India. He said the purpose of observance of the week through programmes was to reinforce the need for efficiency, transparency and personal discipline and fairness in public spending. The students and faculty took anti-corruption pledge on the occasion.
