Golmaal Again: Rohit Shetty's film crosses Rs 180 cr in India, becomes highest grosser of 2017
Rohit Shetty's multi-starrer comedy Golmaal Again has reportedly broken box office records to become the highest grossing film of 2017.
The film stars the original gang comprising of Ajay Devgn, Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Kemmu, Shreyas Talpade and Arshad Warsi along with new additions — Parineeti Chopra and Tabu. According to film trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film's domestic collections are currently at Rs 184.97 cr.

Not just nationally, the film has also been doing exceptional business worldwide. According to a statement released by the makers of the film the potboiler has crossed the 200-crore mark internationally.
"We waited more than seven years for the right subject to take the Golmaal franchise forward. What we have achieved is very exciting and humbling, all thanks to the love showered upon us by fans across the globe," Rohit Shetty, director of the film, said in a statement.
The fourth installment of the Golmaal franchise released worldwide on 20 October, just a day after Aamir Khan's Secret Superstar. Although the family drama gave Golmaal Again some tough time initially, it faded out towards the end, leaving space for the spooky comedy to shine.
As per Koimoi.com, Golmaal Again has surpassed Varun Dhawan's Judwaa 2 (Rs 138 cr) and Shah Rukh Khan's Raees (Rs 137.51 cr) in terms of box office collections.
