Another tourist attack: German assaulted at UP railway station for ignoring greetings
VARANASI: In yet another attack on a foreigner in UP, a German tourist was assaulted at Robertsganj station in UP's Sonbhadra district on Saturday.

Holger Eric Misch was reportedly assaulted by one Aman Kumar for allegedly not replying to the latter's greetings. Kumar, an electrician from Bihar, was later arrested.

On October 26, a Swiss couple was brutally assaulted in Fatehpur Sikri for allegedly refusing to pose with some local youths for a selfie.

According to GRP, Holger had landed in Sonbhadra for visiting Aghori Fort on Saturday. Then he reached Robertsganj station where Aman reportedly greeted him.

Holger said he was not interested in talking to him. It provoked Kumar and he started assaulting him. Holger was rushed to hospital. Later Kumar was booked and held. GRP said it later found out that a case was filed against the tourist in Himachal and his passport had been deposited in a Kullu court.
