‘Octave’ to celebrate music of Northeast

Panaji: Goa will witness the heritage of northeast Indian music and cuisine through 'Octave', a five-day cultural festival which will be held from November 8 to 12, at Ravindra Bhavan, Margao. The festival will see performances by nearly 350 dance and music artistes from eight states: Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Assam, Manipur, Sikkim and Tripura.


The event will also highlight a variety of northeast Indian cuisine. Demonstrations of handicraft-making and home decor items will be conducted. tnn
