Twitterati hails Indian women's hockey team after Asia cup triumph

The Indian women hockey team beat China in the finals of Asia cup to qualify for world cup after 15 years today.

This is India’s second Asia Cup title win after they had beaten Japan in 2004 in New Delhi and the congratulations have been pouring in since. Tweet from the President Ram Nath Kovind and PM Narendra Modi show the much-needed support and appreciation for the national game and more so the women players. 

President congratulated the winners in his tweet and PM Modi said 'proud of the stellar performance'.
