Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address public rallies in Una, Palampur and Kullu in poll-bound Himachal Pradesh today.
PM Modi mentioned that Una is a land of gurus. He said the campaigning for the assembly election had entered the final phase. " I had toured Himachal Pradesh previously as a BJP worker," said PM Modi.

He said that this election is special due to an active participation of the people. "People have taken the initiative to oust the Congress party." said Modi.

PM Modi reminded people of former PM Rajiv Gandhi's speech in the 1980's, when the former PM during an election campaign explained how the funds had reduced from the time it was sanctioned in New Delhi till the time it reached the states. In a scathing attack PM Modi asked how the former PM failed to correct this practise.

With just four days left before Himachal Pradesh goes to polls, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a parivartan rally in Una, Himachal Pradesh.

The elections to the 68-seat assembly will be held on November 9 and counting of votes will begin on December 18.

PM Modi launched a virulent attack on the Opposition during a rally in Raitt district on Saturday saying the Congress party had lost the trust of its own leaders and were now looking at rebels from other parties. “No senior Congress leader came here to campaign. They have already left the field leaving everything on fate,” he said.

Prem Kumar Dhumal, BJP's chief ministerial candidate is also a four-time MP, is credited with having expanded BJP's base in Himachal after the Shanta Kumar government was dismissed in 1992.
