District Cong Committee holds car rally

A CAR rally was organised by District Congress Committee urban- 2 led by president Gurpreet Singh Gabi. The rally was flagged off by former union minister Pawan Bansal from Sector 42. The rally passed through sectors 43 ,44 ,45 ,20 ,19 ,27 and concluded at Sector 28 ground where the senior leaders addressed the participants. The participants raised slogans against the BJP for their anti-people policies such as GST and demonetisation.

While speaking on the occasion, Congress leader Pawan bansal said the government failed miserably to manage economy and to generate jobs. “PM Narendra Modi accuses Congress of a sick outlook, who himself remained mum for so long on the rising common people’s disappointment, decreasing jobs, failure of start up India, FDI and big blow to small business community,” he said. CTCC president Pardeep Chabra said that development in Chandigarh has almost come to a halt, irrational hike in the leasehold system has rendered the scheme baseless.

Gurpreet Gabi, president of District Congress Committee, Urban-2, said price hike has crossed all limits, acute dearth of jobs is a major issue, small businessmen are forced to shut down their businesses, thanks to flawed GST and demonetisation.
