Triveni College bags three prizes at Academic Pentathlon-2

Senior Civil Judge Shaik Madhar Saheb gives away prizes

Sree Triveni Junior College, Mansoorabad, grabbed all the three prizes at the Academic Pentathlon-2 organised jointly by The Hindu and Vignan University for students pursuing Intermediate.

The competition was held at Avinash College of Commerce at L.B. Nagar here and about 550 students from over 20 colleges and schools took part in quiz, elocution, music, dance and skit.

Fine arts category

The students were at their best in the quiz events and also showcased their skill in elocution. Enthralling dances, songs and skits were part of the competition under fine arts category.

Senior Civil Judge Shaik Madhar Saheb, who was the chief guest, appreciated the participants for being a part of the academic event. Later, he gave away the prizes to the winners.

The participants of elocution competition were judged by faculty members D. Swathi, T. Srilatha and Diana. The event was earlier conducted in Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Guntur, Tirupati, Kakinada and Hyderabad.

The performances of students in fine arts were judged by artistes Tejaswini and Srikanth. The Hindu Regional Head-Telangana T. Ravi, Ravinder Reddy of Vignan University were present on the occasion.
