Pune: Two persons were arrested late on Friday evening and their accomplice was booked for robbing cash and valuables worth Rs98,620 of three friends at Sambhajinagar Joggers' Park in Nigdi in the evening.
Police said Pradnesh Khedekar (22), Bhairav Suryavanshi and Govind Marjwade had gonbe to Joggers' Park in the evening. They sat on a bench and were chatting when the suspects arrived on a motorcycle. After threatening them, they robbed gold chain and cellphones worth Rs98,620 collectively and fled.
Pradnesh lodged a complaint with the police. The police identified the arrested suspects as Swanand alias Chikya Nagesh Kharat (19) and Pravin alias Bala Ankush Mhaske (35). TNN
