Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu will inaugurate the golden jubilee celebrations of the Kochi Corporation on November 22. A delegation from the civic body, led by Mayor Soumini Jain and K.V. Thomas, MP, met Mr. Naidu in New Delhi. The venue of the event will be decided in consultation with the Special Protection Group, said Ms. Jain. The delegation also included women chairpersons V.K. Minimol, Shiny Mathew, and Gracy Joseph.
