Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to take part in Karthika Vana Samaradhana at Nagara Vanam in Perecharla on the outskirts of Guntur on Saturday | Express

GUNTUR: The State government is organising Karthika Vana Samaradhana at Nagara Vanam in Perecharla on the outskirts of Guntur on Saturday. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will inaugurate the Nagara Vanam and interact with the public during the Karthika Vana Samaradhana. The Chief Minister will inaugurate Nagara Vanam at 11 am and will participate in the Vana Mahotsavam programme till 1 pm.

The State government conducted Karthika Vana Mahotsavam at Ananthavaram in Guntur district on November 25, 2016. The Nagara Vanam project was started in 2015 by the Forest Department in an extent of 520 acres of forest land by spending `5 crore. Cycling, trekking and yoga facilities are made available at the Nagara Vanam. Guntur Collector K Sasidhar informed that students and women will participate in Karthika Vana Samaradhana and cultural programmes.
